ADDITIONAL REMARKS

  • Noise abatement procedures for Runways 06 and 24 – No turns after take-off before 1000’ AGL. Avoid overflight of schools east and west of airport.
  • Large flocks of geese on and in the vicinity of the airport.
  • Deer on and in the vicinity of the airport.
  • Runway 24 runup operations at Taxiway C.

BUILDINGS

Driscoll Terminal Building is a central meeting place that provides a comfortable passenger and pilot waiting area featuring flat screen TVs, couches, large flight planning tables, computers, high-speed wireless Internet, and a weather briefing center. Complimentary coffee, donuts, hot dogs, popcorn, and snacks are available along with vending services. The building also houses the line services office, a charter aviation service, and a Cessna sales brokerage business. It is open from 6:00 AM until 12:00 midnight seven days a week.

Administration Building houses the FBO, flight school, pilot shop, testing service, charter air service, medevac service, aviation insurance company, and Angel Flight East.

Maintenance Hangar features space for servicing up to four aircraft, a parts department, and workshops.

Hangars provide storage space for up to 58 aircraft available in 7 hangar buildings.

Cottage near the airport entrance is the home of the PennSTAR Flight medical evacuation helicopter service.

Philadelphia Aviation Country Club is housed in the property’s original farmhouse which dates back to the 1750s. It features a private, members-only club with a swimming pool and tennis court.

Office Building on Narcissa Road, built in 1932, is home for an insurance agency.
