DISCOVERY FLIGHT

The discovery flight is designed to help you understand what flying is about and give you a sense of what is involved in flying an airplane. The discovery flight lasts about 30 minutes, but it may be the beginning of a lifelong passion. It will be your very first loggable flight lesson.

A certified flight instructor will first review what will be taking place during the flight and specific procedures that must be followed. You will participate in the pre-flight inspection of the aircraft.

Now the fun part comes – FLYING! You will climb into the airplane, start the engine, taxi, take the controls, take-off, fly, and help land it. You will be guided through several basic maneuvers. After landing the instructor will review what you accomplished during the flight and answer any questions you may have.

This is your time to interview the flight instructor and our flight school. Get detailed information about school costs and policies, curriculum, ground school, student passing ratio, and experience of the flight instructors. Take the time to tour our entire school and the training aircraft we provide.
